A Charcoal Portrait Created Especially for You
Turn a meaningful photograph into an original work of art. I create custom charcoal (black and white) portraits designed to capture not only a likeness, but also the personality, beauty, emotion, and story of the person being portrayed.
Commissioned portraits are perfect for celebrating family, honoring a loved one, a pet, commemorating a special occasion, or creating an heirloom that can be passed from one generation to the next.
HOW THE COMMISSION PROCESS WORKS
1. Choose Your Portrait
Contact me with the type of portrait you would like, your preferred size, and the number of people you would like included.
2. Submit Your Photos
You will be asked to provide clear, high-quality reference photographs. Multiple photographs may be submitted so I can select the details that will create the strongest portrait.
3. Consultation & Artistic Direction
We will discuss your vision, including composition, background, colors, clothing, mood, and any meaningful details you would like incorporated into the artwork.
4. Deposit & Creation
Once the details and price are approved, a non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance will be due before the completed artwork is shipped or delivered.
5. Your Finished Portrait
Your completed portrait will be carefully packaged and prepared for delivery so that your custom artwork arrives ready to become part of your family's story.
PORTRAIT OPTIONS
Custom charcoal portraits are available in a variety of sizes and may include individuals, couples, families, children, memorial portraits, and other special requests.
Pricing varies according to portrait size, number of subjects, medium, background complexity, and other requested details.
